One of my favorite trends right now in interior design is exposed brick. I’m seeing it more and more, and I’m loving what I’m seeing. It’s often used as an accent in a space to add texture and interest. Exposed brick adds a lot character to a room. Whether it’s painted or left untouched, it creates variety from simple painted walls. The tumbled look of brick gives dimension to a room without the need to over decorate. It also brings a mixed feeling of old and new together in more modern spaces. Today, I’m sharing examples where exposed brick is used beautifully. Maybe one will be the perfect inspiration for an upcoming project. Enjoy!
Your kitchen is beautiful! I love the clean, fresh, crisp look. I have looked and looked at your kitchen as I would love the do this very thing. We built our house 34 years ago and your cabinets look like the same style as ours which really gives me the inspiration to go forward with the painting. Our cabinets are in great shape they just need that little “pick me up” I am now holding back because we have a microwave above our stove that I would like to remove and it is a back and forth thing with the hubby and we don’t have a lot of counter space. I hope you don’t mind me asking but I don’t see a microwave in your pictures, do you have one? where do you keep it if so?
