That’s really great for you Cassie. You’re very right when you say I didn’t work at my business, I was only a distributor for the month of December before I realised I didn’t agree with all the rules of being a distributor. I am talking about MY experience, and I have a right to talk about it–this is my blog after all. Yes, my sponsor was one person, she is not a reflection of the entire company. But, and I think you would agree with this, that the team you belong to is a huge part of the “SeneGence Journey” and when I left the Dominion I was a part of, we were one of the top 20 teams in the whole company. Many other women I’ve spoken to, including someone else from my sponsor’s downline, have expressed these very same frustrations. I clearly stated this was MY experience with the company and might not be that of others. I even mentioned that this negative experience was partly my fault, and could have been avoided had I asked the right questions. Your comment only reinforces why I decided to write this post about my experience with an MLM. Once someone says something negative about MLMS, those who are making thousands of dollars off others (like you) clearly get defensive because they know others might finally see the light. Everything I said in my blog post is true, and I said it in the beginning of my post and in the title, this was going to be a negative experience. I also have to agree with you on the fact that SeneGence is not a get rich quick scheme, it’s a great way to get into debt. I think it’s almost important to note that I said it’s easier for those who have a large following to sell LipSense and get their fans to join their downline because that’s exactly how I joined the company. I joined because someone I had been following for years told her viewers we could work closely with her if I just paid $55 to join. Take Leah Messer for example from Teen Mom 2 (not who I joined under). I made SeneGenence a big part of my blog, and it’s very necessary I address why I took everything down from my blog regarding SeneGence. I originally started out as a frugal blogger and I have many posts about how to save money and pay off debt. I made a mistake including SeneGence on my blog, and I had to address it.
